ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ADMISSION INTO CROSS RIVER STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, CALABAR FOR 2015/2016 ACADEMIC SESSION. APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO THE COLLEGE FOR THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES

1 PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING TWO YEARS
  1. Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN)
  2. National Diploma or its equivalent in Nursing.
  3. Holders of the above must possess the basic O’level credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
HND IN PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (WAHEB)
2a. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER (ND/HND) TWO (2) /FOUR (4) YEARS Minimum entry requirement into National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Science Programme is five (5) O’level credits in English language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Health Science in either WAEC/NECO at not more than two sittings. Candidates with JAMB score of 160 and above have added advantage ND,HND IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (WAHEB)
2b. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN THREE (3) YEARS Minimum of 5 passes in O’level WASSC/ SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than 2 sittings. Three(3) of the passes must be at credit level and should include English Language, Biology, or Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing and any other subject. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN DIPLOMA (WAHEB)
2c. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANTS TWO (2) YEARS Four (4) O’level passes which should include at least one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science, Nutrition, Physics). A pass in English language will be an added advantage. CERTIFICATE
3a. COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER (CHEW) THREE (3) YEARS Five (5) Credit level passes at WASSC/ SSCE/GCE/NECO O’level not more than two (2) sittings. These must include: English language, Mathematics Physics, Chemistry, andBiology/Health Science. Also candidates with JCHEW certificates have an added advantage. NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH.(NATIONAL COMM. HEALTH PRACTITIONERS BOARD.)
3b. JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER (JCHEW) TWO (2)YEARS Three (3) credits and 2 passes at O’level WASSC or NECO in not more than two sittings to include English language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any other two subjects CERTIFICATE IN JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH (NCHPBC)
4a PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MGT THREE (3) YEARS A minimum of 3 Credits and 2 passes in the relevant subjects at not more than twosittings at the SSCE/ WASSC or its equivalent. The subjects must include: English language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics or Chemistry and any other subject. DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT.(HRORBN)
4b ND/HND HEALTH INFORMATION MGT TWO (2) /FOUR (4) YEARS National Diploma (ND) in H.I.Mwith a minimum of lower credit. Health Record Technician Certificate with a minimum of lower credit five (5) O’level credits in English language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Health Science in either WAEC/NECO at not more than two sittings. Candidates with JAMB score of 160 and above will have added advantage. NATIONAL DIPLOMA/HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFOR- MATION MANAGEMENT.
5a. MEDICAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT TWO (2) YEARS following subject: English language, Biology, and any other subject. A pass in Mathematics and Chemistry is compulsory. (Results more than five years as at the date of this registration will be rejected by the Registration Board. MEDICAL LAB. ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE
5b. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN THREE (3) YEARS Requires WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO — Four credit passes in the following subjects: Eng. Language, Maths, Biology and Chemistry with at least a pass in Physics. (Results more than five years as at the date of this registration willbe rejected by the Registration Board). Holders of Medical Lab. Assistant certificate with the above O’level requirement can also apply for two (2) years programme leading to Technician Certificate. MEDICAL LAB. TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE
6. DISPENSING OPTICIANRY THREE (3) YEARS Four (4) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in WASSC/ SSCE/GCE/NECO in the following subjects: English language, Maths, Biology, chemistry and Physics, minimum of pass in English language or mathematics. A candidate with a minimum of 10 years cognate experience in optical dispensing (apprenticeship), who have two or three credits in any of these subjects may also be considered for admission. 7. CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURAL STUDIES ONE (1) YEAR WAEC/NECO attempted or lesser certificate with some experience related to interested course of study. CERTIFICATE
8. COMPUTER SCIENCE TWO (2) YEARS
  1. Four credit level passes in WASSC/ SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than two sittings. The four subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any other subject.
  2. Four credit passes in an NBTE recognized preliminary National Diploma course offered in a Polytechnic or similar post Secondary Technical Institution. The credit pass must include mathematics, physics, English Language and any other subject.
  3. A pass in computer Foundation Examination (CFE) of Computer professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). The student must be prima fascia qualified as in (a) above.
NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
9. RADIOGRAPHY THREE (3) YEARS
  1. 5 Credits at no more than 2 sittings In WAEC/NECO in the following Subjects: English Language, Mathematics plus either Physics, Chemistry or Biology, and any two other subjects
DIPLOMA IN RADIOGRAPHY

Interested applicants can fill the only Registration form using one of two methods:

  1. Obtain the College Scratch cards, available at First Bank Nig. Plc Branches, OR
  2. Obtain an eChannel Pins by paying online using your Debit Card.

Step 3: Complete the Online Registration Form

Step 4: Print out the completed form and submit to the Admission Officer along with copies of relevant credentials
